Tariq oversees ICFJ's distance learning platform, ICFJAnywhere, and all its courses. She also manages Middle East and North Africa projects. She has a B.A. in political science from Baghdad University and a certificate in international journalism from the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR). Before joining ICFJ, Tariq worked as a reporter for IWPR and Al Hurriyah TV in Iraq. She also worked for USAID and the Iraqi Embassy in Washington, D.C.
