This conference is intended to remake a new media ecology that is inclusive of diverse voices. Ideas will be conceived, designed, and pitched for the next news and information businesses, tools, and services that amplify diverse voices and strengthen the role of communities in shaping their stories. The three-day gathering serves as a sandbox in which professionals ranging from programmers to journalists can initiate entrepreneurial journalism ventures.
