On Tuesday, July 8, our #EdShift chat will focus on covering data in courses, part of our special series “Teaching Data Journalism.” Join us at 1 ET/12 CT/10 PT as we cover data’s importance, as well as tips and ideas for incorporating it into the classroom. The chat will be moderated as usual by MediaShift’s Education Curator Katy Culver, with special guests Derek Willis from the New York Times, Mike Reilley of DePaul University and Katherine Kruegera recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. A Storify of the chat will be added to this page after the chat.
