fixed-trilogy“Divergent” is this year’s runaway top bestselling e-book in the U.S. — but it’s not the best-selling e-book this week. (In the UK, at the London Book Fair, the buzz around HarperCollins is about why “Divergent” is selling comparatively well abroad.)

The juggernaut has been stopped and sits at No. 2 on the Digital Book World E-book Bestseller list, making way for “Fixed Trilogy Bundle”, a collection of titles by self-published author Laurelin Paige.

"Another surprise on the list this week is the ascendance of a nonfiction title into the top-five: "Flash Boys: A Wall Street Revolt", the latest expose on Wall Street’s misbehavior from star financial journalist Michael Lewis is ranked No. 4."

(As a reader pointed out last week, it should likely have been on the list then, too, but due to a [now fixed] glitch in our system, it was missed. Read a full explanation here.)

The title is being sold at $0.99, a fifth the price of “Divergent”, and roughly a seventh of the average price of a top-25 bestselling e-book this week, which jumped to $7.08 from $6.42 last week.

Another surprise on the list this week is the ascendance of a nonfiction title into the top-five: “Flash Boys: A Wall Street Revolt”, the latest expose on Wall Street’s misbehavior from star financial journalist Michael Lewis is ranked No. 4. The title is W.W. Norton’s first on the list this year and was selling for as little as $9.18 last week.
