It’s Facebook’s world, we just live in it.

The mammoth social network is constantly changing the game for publishers with algorithm tweaks, Instant articles or introducing 360-degree photos. It’s hard to keep up with what will happen next.

In our #MetricShift Twitter chat, we discuss how publishers can keep up with and measure Facebook’s audience and engagement metrics. The chat will take place at 10 am PST/noon central/1 pm EST on Friday, August 26.

The chat, which you can find by searching for #MetricShift on Twitter, will be moderated by Tim Cigelske, associate metrics section editor for MediaShift. Guests will include Amy Wood, Carolina News Anchor at ; Nora BaldnerAssistant Professor of Communication at Quincy University; Christine Gritmon, social media consultant and former engagement editor at Gannett; Justin Auciello, editor in chief of Jersey Shore Hurricane News; and Jason Alcorn, metrics section editor for MediaShift.

A Storify recap will be posted after the chat.
