    Each week, MediaShift posts an ongoing list of upcoming events in the digital media and journalism world. These will be a mix of MediaShift-produced events and other events.     Journalism Innovation Summit @ City University London

    Tired of hearing complaints about the challenges facing journalists today? The Journalism Innovation Summit @ City University London on 15 May 2015 will off an idea exchange on the way forward, with a focus on innovative content and innovative business models. You’ll hear from innovators at traditional journalism outlets as well as startups looking to disrupt the news. Breakout groups in the morning and afternoon will enable knowledge sharing and networking. We’ll be inviting editors, reporters, producers, publishers, developers, entrepreneurs, academics and other key players in journalism innovation. The one-day conference will include a kick-off reception on May 14, as well as post-event socializing on the evening of May 15.
