Once again, PBS MediaShift brought together a diverse mix of collaborators from public media, commercial media, academia and beyond for a Collab/Space workshop, this time in Chicago at the TechNexus incubator space. The workshop took place the day before ONA14 began.
Sponsored by the John S. Knight Journalism Fellowships at Stanford and hosted by TechNexus, the all-day workshop included NewU’s Doug Mitchell and Circa’s David Cohn giving inspirational talks, with presentations from nine media startups and, fitting for Chicago, improv comedy exercises.
