By day, the Democratic National Convention is packed with delegate breakfasts, diverse caucuses and intense speeches. At night, it’s all about the parties.

The parties include fundraisers, delegate meet-and-greets, karaoke parties and even lava parties (shout-out to Senator Carper of Delaware). The delegate breakfasts begin at 7:45 a.m. But the parties don’t start until 11 p.m., stretching across the city’s bars, hotels and concert venues.

Mainstream media outlets are not the only ones covering social parties and events. Delegates, alternative press, and party attendees have also taken to all types of social media to showcase and share their experience. Most of the action is on Twitter and Instagram, but some publications have taken to newer outlets such as Facebook Live.

Below is a Storify curation of some of the more interesting coverage on social media of the social part of the conventions.
