Following the Future of Journalism with #ONA17

The Online News Association hosted ONA17 in Washington, D.C. Oct. 5-7, and journalists, educators, and futurists focused on creating a larger dialogue about where we are and where we could be with digital media.

EducationShift will be posting articles about education-specific conference topics, but we also followed #ONA17 on social media during the three-day event. Amanda C. Bright :Amanda C. Bright is a former professional journalist who later spent a decade as a scholastic journalism adviser of both newspaper and yearbook in Illinois. Currently, Bright is the EducationShift editor, a journalism instructor at Eastern Illinois University and the Media Content Coordinator for Indiana State University Online; she also serves as the Social Media Director and Web Co-Administrator for the Illinois Journalism Education Association.
