There was a time in America when everyone had a dumb box. A boob tube. A TV that had a handful of broadcast channels, many of them not even programming for 24 hours. But now, we live in an age of TV diversity, when people get their shows through so many alternative channels: Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, YouTube, gray market sites, pay-per-view. The list goes on. And many people have given up on cable and satellite TV altogether, because of rising prices and poor customer service. So where do you stand? Did you cut the cord? Do you wish you could but haven’t yet? Please vote in our poll below and share your cord-cutting story in the comments.

People still HAVE cable? I've never paid for cable, ever, of course I'm young but a few years ago my parents decided to start charging me for internet and cable if I wanted to enjoy them, I refused to pay for cable but internet was worth it so right from the get go, I've never paid for cable, nor do I ever intend to. Hell, right now I'm living solely off youtube by compiling hours of playlists.
