On Friday, April 4, our biweekly #EdShift chat gets a brand new spin. The students are taking over.

The chat will involve students from journalism programs across the country, focusing on what they need from their journalism education. The chat will take place on Twitter at the #EdShift hashtag at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET. As your professors watch, tell us what’s important to you and whether we’re delivering it.

Moderated by MediaShift education intern Lauren Simonis, the chat features special guests Burton Bridges of the University of Memphis, Katherine Krueger of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Jakub Rudnik of DePaul University, Melissa Mendoza,  Constanza Gallardo and Moises Fuertes of Florida International University, Bobby Blanchard of the University of Texas at Austin, Shanda Crowe and David Schick of the University of Georgia, Priscillia Seelan of Texas State University, Brittney Figueira and Daniel Rodriguez of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Andrew Cullen of San Francisco State University, Kara Dixon, Shannon Clash and Alexandria Benford of the University of Maryland, College Park and Derrick Clifton and Katherine Doyle of Northwestern University.

Join us Friday by following #EdShift on Twitter and catch future chats on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET.
