Webinar Manager

MediaShift is looking for a Webinar Manager who will help develop and launch a new line of webinars offered by MediaShift and university partners. We will begin testing and launching them in the next few months. Other responsibilities include working with university partners, finding webinar leaders and working with the MediaShift editorial, social media marketing, sponsorship and technology teams. The focus of our webinars will align with MediaShift’s content areas: journalism education, self-publishing, streaming TV, business models, media innovation and more. This is a contract job that you can do from your own home or office.

Hours: About 30 hours per month

Job Requirements

> 2 years of experience working on webinars or online education.
> Excellent self-starter and entrepreneurial skills, and juggling various responsibilities.
> Knowledge of the state of current webinars related to media and journalism.
> Knowledge of and contacts at various American and global journalism and communication schools.
> Experience working remotely and with diverse teams.
