Transportation to University of Georgia

The easiest way to get to the University of Georgia in Athens is to fly into Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. From there, you have a couple good options for getting to Athens:

Groome Transportation Shuttle: These depart the airport or campus every hour, and cost $39 one way or $78 round trip per person. Schedule is here.

Driver or Limousine Services: There are various taxi or limo services available from the airport that would be about the same price as the shuttle buses if split among travelers. One is A Touch of Elegance at (770) 377-3582.

Suggested Parking on University of Georgia Campus

For those who want to park on Saturday and Sunday, they can do so in the N09 lot, which is on Hooper Street near the intersection of East Campus Drive. Parking on the weekend is free. See the map below for the location of the two group hotel locations, the school as well as the parking lot. The Hackathon will be located at Studio 100, on the ground floor of the Journalism Building, at 120 Hooper St. Use the Sanford Drive entrance to get to Studio 100.
