Events Manager
MediaShift is looking for an Events Manager who will help us with logistics for upcoming events, including networking mixers, Collab/Space workshops and weekend Hackathons. These events will take place around the U.S. (and London), but the Events Manager will mainly do work remotely and help us find local event managers to work on-site at events. The work will include collaborating successfully with the MediaShift team, partners and locals to find venues, catering, volunteers and other logistical details. This is a contract job that you can do from your own home or office.
Hours: About 40 hours per month (varies depending on timing of events).
Job Requirements
> 2 years of experience managing events.
> Excellent self-starter and good at juggling various responsibilities.
> Detail-oriented personality who hits deadlines.
> Knowledge of MediaShift events, and/or similar technology or media events.
> Experience working remotely and with diverse teams.
