About the Instructor:

Mike Reilley is the director of digital production and professor of practice for Cronkite News at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. A former reporter and copy editor at the Los Angeles Times, Mike was also one of the founding editors of ChicagoTribune.com and has worked on the national desk at WashingtonPost.com. An early adopter of web technologies, he has spent nearly 30 years in digital journalism, newspapers, higher education and marketing. He previously taught digital journalism at Northwestern University and DePaul University. Mike is a frequent contributor to the MediaShift Education Shift blog and is the founder of the journalism research site The Journalist’s Toolbox (journaliststoolbox.org).
