With a hotly anticipated film adaptation of the E.L. James bestseller ready to hit theaters this Valentine’s Day, two titles in the “Fifty Shades of Grey” trilogy return to the E-Book Best-Seller List.

The eponymous first book of the series as well as its third installment, “Fifty Shades Freed,” slide into the No. 18 and No. 21 spots, respectively.

If recent history is any guide, those titles may very well climb the ranks should the movie adaptation perform well.

Just last week saw two different e-book editions of “American Sniper” score places on the Best-Seller List, including No. 1, as the Bradley Cooper movie based on the title cleaned up at the box office.

The average price of a bestseller is up from $6.30 to $6.67 this week.

  1. “The Girl on the Train: A Novel,” Paula Hawkins, Penguin Random House, $6.11
