JoLT Fellowships @ American University
American University invites applications for three JoLT (Journalism Leadership Transformation) fellowships in games and disruptive media. Fellows will participate in several leadership initiatives partnering American University, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and multiple nationally recognized industry leaders. The fellowship program supports a cohort of pioneers who are skilled in engagement design, systems thinking and transformative leadership, ideally with an interest or background in, media and/or journalism.

The week-long multimedia fellowship program sponsored by the Meredith Corporation and its Phoenix television station, KPHO CBS 5, offers broadcast journalism students from underrepresented groups a week of hands-on experience.

The New York Times James Reston Reporting Fellowship
New York, NY
The fellowship selects up to four college students, who are assigned to various news departments, typically Metro, Business, Sports or Science or the Washington bureau. They get reporting assignments and bylines on their stories.

The Rosalynn Carter Fellowships for Mental Health Journalism

The one-year fellowship is offered to six journalists and is designed to enhance public understanding of mental health issues and combat stigma and discrimination against people with mental illness.
