Where do you turn when you’re looking for tools or know-how to do your work better? There are many excellent resources for journalists gathered by specialty organizations or as periodic blog posts. The Journalism Accelerator takes a different approach. To help news providers search more efficiently across various networks, and find what they need, the JA searches scores of sources and curates its resource collection with an eye toward practical value or proven success.
Organized in an easy-access index, the collection is designed to help journalists, publishers and others who are looking to find new, sustainable ways to do business. Since its inception 15 months ago, it has grown to more than 300 resources — practical reporting tools, ideas for building community, advertising tips, databases, business models, industry background papers, training opportunities, experiments to watch, organizations to know and more.
Check out the infographic below, dissecting the way these resources are organized and how to find quickly what is important to you. (Click the image for a larger version.)
